About

We’re kicking off Bona Giving Day with 1858 Minutes of Giving in honor of the year St. Bonaventure University was founded.

The 1858 Minutes of Giving will begin at 5:02 p.m. on February 14 and run through the end of Bona Giving Day on Thursday, February 15.

We have 1858 minutes to make a difference, and we hope that you will join us!

On Oct. 4, 1858, the Feast of St. Francis, the formal dedication of a new school was held on a tract of land donated by Nicholas Devereux. It was then that the College was named after St. Bonaventure of Bagnoregio, the Patron of Franciscan Studies and Learning.

πŸ† The class with the highest participation rate wins, with their total amount raised put toward their Senior Class Gift!
